The never-detected hypothesized supersymmetry “stau”, when looking up is better than looking down.

I wish I could add something of substance to Michael Segal’s article “Have Balloons and Ice Broken the Standard Model?“, but I can’t – other than to say, sometimes looking up for something is better than looking down. My take away is that all to often we look in the expected direction, when really a glance in the opposite direction may be in order.

If the data this article mentions supports this supersymmetry idea, it could answer a huge chunk of pressing questions in the world of physics. Time will tell. For the moment my contrarian nature will simply remain at “meh”.

… I should create a section for my reading enjoyment.
